If you've read anything about the Cyprus "problem" the chances are it is all skewed with added spin from the Media and governments of the USA , UK and Turkey. Turkish & Greek Cypriots lived together like brothers for 400 years until the western powers decided they needed the "Aircraft Carrier of the Mediterranean". They instigated sectarian violence - admited to on the BBC Paronama program by Rauf Denktash. Where he explained Turkish Cypriots planted a bomb outside Turkish premises (shades of Iraq - nothing changes).
